Infant Care
One simple belief:
babies thrive when they feel safe, loved, and understood.
Our infant program is designed to support the earliest and most important stage of growth—when babies are learning to trust, connect, and feel secure in the world around them.
In our calm, home-like environment, infants are surrounded by warmth, gentle routines, and responsive care that helps them feel safe, loved, and understood every day.
Our Approach to Infant Care
Every infant is unique, and we respect each baby’s individual needs and rhythms. During the transition from home to daycare, we work closely with parents to follow familiar routines at first, then gently guide infants into our daily daycare schedule in a way that feels comfortable, supportive, and reassuring.
All routines are carried out with close supervision and attentive care from our early childhood educators.
Our infant care includes:
Feeding routines guided by each baby’s needs
Diapering and hygiene with close attention to comfort and cleanliness
Nap routines that follow infants’ natural sleep cues
Gentle transitions throughout the day
A Small, Home-Like Setting
Unlike large childcare centers where children are separated into rooms by age, our home daycare follows a mixed-age group model, similar to a family with siblings. Infants, toddlers, and older children share the day together in a calm, closely supervised environment with familiar early childhood educators.
This approach allows younger children to observe and learn from older peers, while older children develop empathy, patience, and leadership.
This nurturing setting allows infants to form secure attachments, feel comfortable, and develop a strong sense of trust during their earliest months.
Our environment offers:
Small group sizes in a home-based setting
Loving, mature, and attentive early childhood educators
Gentle learning through interaction with older children
Mixed-age interactions are always intentional, monitored, and guided by educators to ensure safety and positive social experiences.
Learning Through Play (Yes — Even for Babies!)
Babies learn by moving, exploring, listening, and interacting with caring adults in a closely supervised, safe environment.
Tummy time and safe floor play
Sensory exploration (textures, sounds, colors)
Songs, music, and simple stories
Language exposure through talking, singing, and responsive interaction
As infants grow, they are gently included in group moments in age-appropriate ways—no one is left out.
All play experiences are intentionally set up, closely supervised, and guided by early childhood educators to ensure safety and age-appropriate learning.
Partnering with Parent
We believe strong, open communication with families is essential to quality infant care. Parents are kept informed and connected throughout the day through regular updates and thoughtful communication.
We use the Daily Connect app, an easy-to-use platform that allows families to stay connected to their baby’s day.
Parents receive real-time updates, including:
Daily updates on feedings, naps, and diapering
Photos and notes highlighting their baby’s experiences
Ongoing communication and collaboration regarding development and milestones
Parents are also always welcome to contact me directly with any questions or concerns they prefer to discuss privately.
